Student Stories - Living in Canberra

I chose my course because I want a career in medicine and to be guided in preparing for university.

If you would like to study English in a good place, CIT in Canberra is the best choice.

I work with disadvantaged children in my home country. I volunteered to do the course at CIT so I could pass on my new knowledge back home.

The idea of creating games has always fascinated me so when I heard about this course at CIT, I found it is the perfect fit for me.

I have loved learning new things and meeting new people during my study at CIT.

I chose this course because it is connected to my passion for the hospitality industry… it offers a combination of theory and practical learning.

I find I’m not just learning English, I also learn some of the languages of people I've met here.

I chose CIT because I had heard from past students that CIT has very interactive classes and supportive teachers, which I now know is very true. I have so many teachers who are my friends; we still talk today even after I’ve finished my studies.

I chose the Interior Design program because it fit the education I was seeking… the teachers in the program have been incredible.

I'm studying Leadership and Management, and Canberra was my first choice as a place to study. This course satisfied what I was looking for.

When I think of Canberra, I think of the Spanish word Querencia. It means home ground.
