Teaching methods at CIT are different as they concentrate on practical more than theory which is really good.

About CIT

When I was making my decision to come Australia for study I did research on the internet and found that CIT is the top institute offering vocational education and skills training here in Canberra. So this research helped me to select CIT as my career maker.

Teaching methods at CIT are different as they concentrate on practical more than theory which is really good. Practice in related fields of study is an essential part of course and it’s the best thing I have done here. Teachers are really cooperative and understanding.

Describe your first impressions of CIT?

An absolutely excellent and friendly environment with cooperative staff.

What did you enjoy the most about studying at CIT?

Working in the CIT cafe and restaurant and actually practicing what we were studying. I also enjoyed the presentations on different subjects and the library's 24 hours access is fabulous.

I enjoyed the presentations we did in one of the subjects about multiculturalism. Everyone presented their own culture which gave us a lot of knowledge about other cultures and gave me chance to learn things I never knew before.

About Canberra

Quite, calm, beautiful, educated people.

The weather in Canberra is just like to my native land. I never feel strange here. Canberra is a planned city just like our capital Islamabad so I really enjoy it.

Goals and Advice

Studying Hospitality Management at CIT compels me to implement my skills in the industry, so I am thinking about opening my own hospitality business. CIT gave me the motivation to do something great in my field.
