IT Networking

The programs in IT networking provides students with the skills and knowledge to manage, design and build networks to cater for a wide range of scenarios.

The Certificate III course will teach you how to manage an existing network using a range of industry–relevant network operating systems, and will skill you to provide support and administration using the newest and most highly-used IT systems.

Certificate IV and Diploma courses will grant you an understanding of network principles and will conclude with a major project to design and build a complex network in CIT’s purpose–built laboratories.

Industry placement is not a requirement of the training program. However, CIT endeavours to work with local industry and local state government to provide unpaid work placement opportunities up to 72 hours.
