Scholarships are offered by the Australian Government, education institutions and a number of other organisations. They cover various educational sectors, including vocational education and training, however are not available for international students undertaking English language training specifically in Australia.

“I searched the internet and found the Endeavour scholarship and applied. I felt like I was the luckiest person on the earth to receive such a prestigious award under the Australian government. I am very grateful to the Australian government for helping someone from an underdeveloped country like Bhutan.

“The scholarship includes tuition fees and my living expenses, which is sufficient and makes me feel secure and gives me peace of mind to concentrate on my study.”

“My long term goal is to get the best education I can from CIT and go back to my country to help my organisation.”

Australia Awards Scholarships

The Australia Awards Scholarships are a highly valued form of development cooperation that aims to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia's partner countries to promote growth and stability. They provide opportunities for people from developing countries to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study in Australia.

Australia Awards equip scholars with the skills and knowledge to drive change and influence the development outcomes of their own country through obtaining tertiary qualifications at participating Australian higher education institutions and technical colleges.

Scholarship holders are required to return to their country of citizenship for two years after they have completed their studies to contribute to the development of their country.
