Overview

Are you ready to take command? The Certificate III program in Leadership and Management will lay the groundwork for your future success, equipping you with the necessary computing and office skills needed to succeed in entry-level administrative and office positions.

The next step is Certificate IV, where you will gain the skills and knowledge you need as emerging leaders and managers to excel in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. This will include implementing and managing workplace plans, risk assessments and employee relations.

A Diploma qualification will build on your knowledge, teaching you to implement operational plans, manage risk and identify and evaluate marketing opportunities. The Advanced Diploma will consolidate and enhance your skills and knowledge, applying specialised skills with leadership and management experience across a range of contexts to draw out your maximum potential.

Entry Requirements

ACT Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent | Students must also meet one of the following English requirements: IELTS 5.5 (no band score less than 5.0) | TOEFL iBT – 46 | PTE Academic – 42 (minimum of 36 in each band) | TOEFL PBT – 527 | Cambridge English test (C1 Advanced and B2 First) - 162.

Pathways to Further Study

Students who successfully complete the Certificate IV and Diploma of Leadership and Management will receive 1 year credit towards Charles Sturt University's (CSU) Bachelor of Business Studies, delivered on CIT's Reid campus.

Students who successfully complete the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management will receive 96 credit points (1.5 years) towards Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Business Studies.

Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Leadership and Management will receive 24 credit points (1 year) towards the following programs at University of Canberra:

  • Bachelor of Sports Management (688AA)
  • Bachelor of Arts (429AA)
