Overview

Whether your dream job is as an administrative officer or a human resources manager, CIT’s HR courses offer the skills and knowledge to get you there.

Certificate III students learn fundamental computing and office skills required for entry into many administrative and office positions. These skills also provide a foundation for diploma-level programs.

Certificate IV will prepare you to work in a wide range of support positions in human resources management. In smaller companies, you may work as an HR generalist, and larger companies, you may be assigned specific HR roles such as remuneration, workforce planning and human resources information systems.

Those who continue to diploma-level study will combine a familiarity with practical and theoretical concepts to enhance their career prospects in personnel management, staff training, recruitment and workforce planning, and human resource management.

The Advanced Diploma is suited to individuals who will be responsible for leadership, change management and strategic planning. A combined focus on technical, creative, conceptual and managerial competencies will enhance your ability to provide strategic direction and leadership in the human resources functions of an organisation.
