Clean, quiet and a great place to stay.

What do you enjoy the most about living at this residence?

Charming and friendly dorm-mates who originate from all over the world. The rooms are large, plenty of study and storage space. Kitchen and the common room is large and cleaned regularly and the courtyard is a great place to relax and have a BBQ. Terrific laundry facilities and a great place to park a bike. 24 hour internet and lab access and a gym which is located on campus. It has everything!!

Tell us a bit about your location. Is it close enough to the CIT Campus you study at?

Is it conveniently located? Are there shopping centres nearby? Etc. A 2 minute walk to classes and a local corner store.  A 5 minute bus ride to either   the city or Westfield Belconnen Mall where you can find everything you’ll  ever need.  Plenty of places to find great Halal food!!

About Canberra

Describe your impressions of Canberra.

Cold in winter, especially during the nights, since I originate from a much warmer country. The public areas are very clean and the people are friendly, very friendly. Lots of wilderness and kangaroos, which you can see wandering around the campus or see whilst bush walking, jogging or cycling on the convenient tracks.

How do you get around? Is the transport in your area adequate?

There are 2 bus stops that regularly take you to and from everywhere  you need to go in and around Canberra.

About CIT

Tell us about you’re the course your studying at CIT.

I’m enjoying the course. I’m finding it interesting and challenging but I have plenty of time in between classes to study. The teachers are really great. They are very flexible and helpful. The study if different from my home country as it’s very practical and hands-on rather than being all theory from a book.

What would you say to other international students who were thinking about studying at CIT?
