  • City Find interesting boutiques, street fashion, alternative music stores, designer shoes and antique books hidden away in the arcades in City Walk and Garema Place, and in the Canberra Centre.
  • Manuka & Kingston The small 1920s shopping centres of Manuka and Kingston are just a ten-minute walk from each other. Splurge on Australian and international designer labels, beautiful antiques, gourmet food, high quality homewares and exquisite jewellery amongst the cafe-lined streets.
  • Lonsdale Street, Braddon Discover original Canberra designers, stylish Australian fashions, imported designer shoes and unusual handcrafted gifts and homewares amongst an eclectic mix of restaurants, car yards, and hairdressing salons. Lonsdale Street is just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre.

  • Old Bus Depot Markets (Kingston) The multi award-winning Old Bus Depot Markets held every Sunday inside an old bus depot are renowned for a mix of handcrafted jewellery, art, clothing, furniture, toys and regional food and wine produce. Indulge in some of the delicious hot food at the Old Bus Depot Markets.
  • Gorman House Markets (Braddon) Every Saturday, find vintage treasures, second-hand books, jewellery, international foods and much more at Gorman House Markets.
  • Belconnen Fresh Food Markets and Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets Canberra’s two fresh food markets offer delicious delicatessen condiments, fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, Asian grocers and specialty stores selling everything from crocodile and goat meat to fresh pasta. Belconnen: Wednesday to Sunday. Fyshwick: Thursday to Sunday.
  • Canberra Region Farmers Market (Exhibition Park) Visit the largest regional market in the Southern Tablelands where the fresh produce reflects the exciting seasonal characteristics and diversity of the region. Be tantalised by the array of fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers, seafood, cakes, condiments, meats, cheese, and much more. Rotary runs it every Saturday morning, 8-11am.
