Canberra is home to a vibrant and dynamic music scene and has the highest per capita attendance at music events in Australia, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Canberra’s premiere race day is The Kamberra Wine Company Black Opal Stakes held at Thoroughbred Park. It is one of the more important autumn race days on the calendar, contested by top trainers both locally and interstate.
